1. Composition and structure of water-based ink

With the continuous development of science and technology, various industries have been changing, and the chemical properties and structure of coatings, inks and other products have also changed. Against the background of the increasingly severe world environmental situation, the industry has accelerated the transformation to green environmental protection, and developed many energy-saving and environmental protection products, among which water-based ink is a very important part. It is mainly made of water-soluble resin, organic pigments, solvents and related additives by composite grinding. Compared with solvent-based inks, water-based inks get rid of organic solvents other than alcohols. In application, water-based ink has a good printing trial, and can be applied to spot-color printing and four-color printing. Compared with solvent-based ink, water-based ink saves about 50% of the amount of ink and has a good application effect.


2. Advantages of Water-borne Ink for Gravure Printing of Plastic Film

Compared with traditional solvent-based ink, water-based ink has higher solid content and lower printing viscosity. In addition, water-based ink has greatly improved the working environment of workers, effectively dealt with toxic and harmful substances released from traditional ink production and application, and reduced the impact on the physical and mental health of workers. At the same time, the use of water-based ink can avoid contamination to commodities. BOPP, PE, PVC films treated by rotary gravure printing machine can be used in food bags, pharmaceutical bags, beverage bags and other packaging and printing products, without affecting the contents of the packaging and avoiding harming the health of users. In terms of printing efficiency, the printing speed of water-based ink is between 50-250 m/min, and the printing speed is faster. At the same time, its good stability, non-flammable and non-explosive advantages greatly enhance the printing speed, the production operation is relatively simple, is conducive to workers, and good water resistance and faster drying speed can greatly meet production needs, improve production efficiency and speed.
